Course Syllabus

The Apex Academy Technology Course is conducted in 6 sessions over a 6-8 week period. Weekly sessions conclude with both self-study assignments as well as group assignments.

  • In this module you will learn how to use Azure ML studio by leveraging it's MLOps capabilities to work with data, train models, and deploy them to the cloud.
  • You will learn how to make your efforts repeatable by using tools built by Microsoft's Azure.
  • In this session you will apply your new Azure MLOps knowledge on a new dataset of your choice.
  • You will go through the process of making a new copilot end-to-end, starting with use cases identified from exploratory data analysis (EDA) all the way to deploying the copilot.
  • In this session you will learn how to take unlabeled and unstructured data and annotate it using best practices.
  • By completing this module you will have gained the knowledge of how to create new modeling / AI opportunities by creating new training datasets.
  • In this session you will learn how to leverage state of the art natural language processing (NLP) models to create value from your unstructured data.
  • By completing this session you will have learned how to leverage open source natural language processing (NLP) models and apply them for practical tasks.
  • In this session you will learn how to build on top of state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) models to build your own proprietary models.
  • You will learn how to fine-tune these models on your own unstructured data that you labeled in Session 3.
  • In this session you will work with Large Language Models (LLMs) to create a prompt flow.

We deliver the Strategy curriculum both on-line and self-study. We assign case studies for Participants to complete either individually or in groups, and then discuss them in on-line group sessions. 

As with all Apex Academy courses, AI strategy is delivered by our most seasoned AI, IT and Business experts who have relevant, real-world experience with the AI technology knowledge that is foundational to the course. One of our professionals will serve as the course leader, and others will participate as required as we complete the syllabus over the six week period.

Yes. You may enroll as an individual.

A group of 5 participants is necessary to ensure an engaging discussion. Our courses have a limit of 20 participants to ensure individual attention.

Yes, if you desire a course with only your organization’s team it can be accommodated. We require a minimum of 5 participants and no more than 20 total participants.

Internally for all confirmed participants, we will be sending out individual emails with instructions on how to complete the set-up of your access addresses and permissions. In Azure ML, we will be setting up Workspaces, Computes and Notebooks for each participant.

In our initial introductory email, we will provide contact information.

All sales are final and no refund will be issued. If you cannot attend an already purchased session, then you may re-schedule to a different session or to another course of the same dollar value.
